Twilight Survival

In the shadowed confines of a room so tight,
Where day and night contest with might,
A prophecy old, in whispers told,
Of a bat, both bold and bright.

Beneath the moon's ghostly light,
Azure bats take flight, rulers of the night.
Yet, with dawn's early gleam,
The crimson kin, in sunlight beam.

Feast thou must on those less dire,
For energy wanes like dwindling fire.
Beware, dear bat, of strength not thine,
For roles may shift, as stars align.

A dance of sun and shadow's cast,
In this chamber small and vast.
Predator or prey, the line doth blur,
In this game of survival, pure.

So heed this ancient, darkened rhyme,
A warning cast from olden time.
Preserve thy essence, hold it dear,
For in this room, betrayal's near.
